We bid farewell to John H. Woodring of Cecil, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 92. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Woodring and Madonna Woodring (Layman); his wife Mary L. Weber; his son Dennis Woodring; and his brothers, Paul Woodring, Jr. and Raymond "Woody" Woodring.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Betty Hoover of Bryan, OH; his children, Michael Woodring (Cynthia) of Sherwood, OH, Cindy Raub (Butch) of Cecil, OH, Patricia Smith (Mark) of Paulding, OH and Debra Grimes (Randal) of Paulding, OH; his sister Mary Ellen McDougall of Cecil, OH; and his pet Blackie. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Den Herder Funeral Home (1000 W Wayne St, Paulding, OH 45879). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to CHP Hospice.
