He is survived by: his wife Dixie (Tinch); his children, Brenda King (Chris) and William South II; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephen, Brandi and Megan; his great grandchild Ava; his sisters, Vick McClanahan (John), T. I. Walker (Rick) and Bea Neace (Lee); and his brother-in-law Anthony Tinch (Myra). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
