He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hughes and Nellie Hughes (Brumfield). He is survived by: his wife Diana Butcher Hughes; his children, Melissa Wright (Virgil), Stacy Hughes, Nathan Hughes (Heather) and Heather Regalado (Miguel); his grandchildren, Jacey (Ethan), Jaxon (Ashley), Jalen, Ethan Emerson and Ava; his sister Joan Marzullo (Tony); his in-laws, Harriette Depugh (Neil) and Fred Butcher (Molly); and his close friends, Betty, David, Brenda, Dave and Kitty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
