It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia M. Odenweller of Catawba Island, Ohio, born in South Webster, Ohio, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Odenweller; her parents, Essie Cheek and Dora Cheek (Wiseman); and her siblings, Bessie Pooch (Owen), George Cheek (Alma), Carl Cheek (Ruthie), Howard Cheek, Earl Cheek (Joyce), Lucille Krutil (Edward), William Cheek and Catherine Foster (Randy).
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Bailey (Derick) of Castalia; her grandchildren, Aubree, Tate, Kale and Lawson Bailey; her siblings, Ruth Cheek of Sandusky, Ron Cheek (Dot) of Sandusky and Joe Cheek (Carolyn) of Sandusky; and her sister-in-law Irene Cheek of Oak Harbor. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many other family members.
Due to Jenny's love of sports and the value of education, memorials may be made to Margaretta Athletics or Margaretta Robotics Program.
