He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Jerome and Helen Pestovic (Wlasuk). He is survived by: his wife Charlene Pestovic; his daughters, Patricia Dickerson (Jerry Echelbarger) of Wauseon, OH and Rosemarie Smith (Mike) of Grove City, OH; his siblings, Betsy Tomsic (Tony), Rose Sounik (Gale), John Pestovic (Marene) and Pauline Stockdale (Ken); his grandchildren, Nicholas Saiben (Swati), Christopher Saiben (Lisa), Brandon Dickerson, Ryan Dickerson and Alyssa Smith (Seth Gothard); and his great grandchildren, Lennon, Jayson, Lane, Mila, Makenna and Crew. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
