With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alfred B. Wise of Catawba Island, Ohio, born in Bellevue, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Alfred departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Alfred. Though Alfred may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O. Wise and Laura M. Wise (Donnenwirth); and his siblings, Charles B. Wise and Barbara E. Wise Compton-Nickels. He is survived by: his nephew Bud. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Auxter Funeral Home (1105 Castalia St, Bellevue, OH 44811). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bellevue VFW.
Memorial contributions in honor of Mr. Wise may be made to Ashanti Hospice, St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
