He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton German and Florence German (Opper); and his brother-in-law David Loroff. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Gini" German (Smetzer); his children, Wendy Whittaker (Tracy) and Rick Osburn (Jen); his grandchildren, Tori Crum (Jonah Boyer), Ava Osburn, Abby Osburn, Steve Penrod and Tyler Penrod; his great grandchild Rowan Boyer; and his sister Kay Loroff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church General Fund, 203 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH 44824 and to One's favorite charity.
