He was predeceased by: his father Wendell Heeter, Sr.; his wife Marlene Jones Heeter; his son Ryan Heeter; and his brother Craig Heeter. He is survived by: his mother Twila Fitzgerald Heeter of Knox; his daughter Britt Eaton (Bryan) of Grove City; his granddaughters, Rylee and Morgan; and his sisters, Karlene Kimes (Von) of Knox and Lori Lawrence of North Carolina.
