She was predeceased by: her parents, Burdette Jenkins and Audrey Jenkins (Wobser); her stepfather Charlie Taylor; and her sister Susan. She is survived by: her husband William Hirt; her children, Julie Overmyer (Jason), Jennifer Lesch (Matthew) and Jeffrey Hirt (Jessica); her grandchildren, Isabella, Judson, Logan, Jaxson, Lane, Bret and Lily; her siblings, Rebecca Lynn (John), Janie Bem (Scotty), Amy Palmer (Don) and Thomas Jenkins (Jan); and her caregiver Kristina Belinge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (502 Bardshar Rd, Sandusky, OH 44870).
Memorials may be made to Stein Hospice Services and to the Alzheimer's Association.
