He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herman Alvers and Helen Alvers (Drummond); his significant other Terry Ann; his grandchildren, Zachary Jardon, Brendan Wightman, Tia Wightman and Jenna Eve Singler; and his adoptive sons, Gregory Wayne Horne, David Rasor, Terry Joiner and Ronald Boyett (Bones).
