It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Prieur of Castalia, Ohio, born in Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Michael and David Prieur; his grandparents, John and Lucille Strouse; and his uncle Dick Fink.
He is survived by: his son Rick Prieur (Frances) of Castalia; his aunt Mary Fink of Castalia; his grandchildren, Corbin, Brantley, Alyssa, Maleah, Kenzi and Anthony; his great grandchild Noah; his siblings, Deborah Rogers of Sandusky, Tina Rodriguez of Louisiana, Dawn Smith of Port Clinton, William Prieur Jr. of Port Clinton and Scott Smith of Port Clinton; and his friends, Gregory Spendiarian of Sandusky, Sheryl and Mark Miller of Huron. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
