He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his parents, Sylvestre and Gregoria Cruz, Sr.; his siblings, David, Sylvestre Jr., Ruben, Herman, Robert, Larry, Arthur Cruz, Olga Cruz, Hortencia Villarreal and Rose Cruz Hall; and his nephew Tim Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Cruz, Cynthia Cruz (Trevor Webb), Ralph Cruz, Jr. (Rita), Michael Cruz, Sr. (Jennifer) and Nathaniel Cruz; his grandchildren, Amanda Lowis (Jon), AJ Hamilton (Ashley McKinney), Travis Cruz, Josh Fox (Kayla), Mikey Cruz, Jr. (Ruthann Silvis), Jessica Cruz and Miranda Cruz; his great grandchildren, Jarrod, Bryson, Dawson, Skyler, Landon, Lydia, Kaylee, Alie, Rori, Joven and Emma; his siblings, Ordilia Leelah, Mary Durso (Joe), Ronnie Cruz (Olivia), Corondo Cruz (Diane) and Alfred Cruz; and his brother-in-law Dennis Lehner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
