It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hula of Castalia, Ohio, born in Spangler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Hanchar and Mary Hanchar (Wasilko); her son David; and her sister Carol Ann. She is survived by: her husband Russell R. Hula; her children, Marian Fischer (William), Michael Hula (Kyle) and Edward Hula (Amy); her grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Michaela, Angela, Katelyn and Ana Mae; and her brothers, Gregory, Micheal, Harry, Peter and Frank. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, private family services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
