He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Francis Johnson Sr. and Lila Ann Johnson Bouy (Lieb); his brother Allen Johnson; his parents-in-law, Theodore and Margaret Talbot (Demma-Grubbe); his stepfather Norman Bouy; and his sisters-in-law, Carole and Maureen Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Johnson (Grubbe); his children, Renee Laws (Jeff) of Sandusky, Gregory Johnson (Catherine) of Colorado Springs, CO, Gerald Johnson (Mary Anne) of Hudson, OH and Kenneth Johnson Jr. (Dawn) of Berlin Heights; his grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, Brian, Andrew, Jillian, Caleb and Briana; his brothers, Robert Johnson of Sandusky, Harold "Tut" Johnson Jr. of Castalia, Eugene Johnson of Sandusky and Larry Johnson of Sandusky; and his siblings-in-law, Karon Johnson of Huron and William Talbot (Julie) of Bellevue. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
