He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Giles and Bertha Giles (Taylor); his sister-in-law Babe Giles of Cowen, WV; and his siblings, Frank, Odell, O'Neal, John, Dorothy Holmes and Mable Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Giles (Mullens); his children, Kathie Mueller (Allan), Carol Hay, Allen Giles, Tim Giles (Lisa) and Rodney Giles; his grandchildren, Carrie Glock (Ray), Rob Griggs (Cali), Corey Hay (Angel), Jessica Springer (Jude), Jennifer Hay, Jared Mueller (Melissa), Carlye Bibb (Brad) and Madison Trimble; his great grandchildren, Brad Griggs (Cassie), Donovan Glock (Alyssa), Garrett Glock, Sasha Haas, Zachary Haas, Shianna Wood (Tanner), Dakota Hay (Alexis), Damion Hay, Devon Hay, Jayda Springer, Jaxen Springer, Makyah Yeager (Derek), Taytum Bibb, Brayleigh Bibb, Ameliah Bibb and Isaac Bibb; and his great great grandchildren, Jayce, Raegan Griggs, RosaLee Wood, Benson and Colton Everett Caster.
