He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Hughes; his parents, Dewey Hughes and Betty Hughes (Lundy); and his brother Richard "Ricky" Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Scott Hughes (Sarah), Ashley Hughes and David Hughes; his grandson Liam Hughes; and his brother Dennis Hughes.
