With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Whyde (Castalia, Ohio), who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Whyde; her grandson Nick Whyde; her parents, Arthur Altvater and Myrtle Altvater (Jump); her siblings, Lowell Altvater (Mary), Emerson Altvater (Mary Jean) and Norma Addy (Roger); her children, Nancy McMaster (Michael), David Whyde (Barbara) and Dan Whyde (Lois); her grandchildren, Mark Lorcher, Michael Lorcher (Nancy), Michele Ziemke (Michael), Cindy Livengood (Todd), Tracee Lizzi (John), Laurie Wallack (Kevin), Bridget Holmes (Trevor), Jill Gibson (Tobias), Christine Smith (Ken) and Heidi Uriano (Michael); and her close friend Shirley Gahr.
In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to the Margaretta rescue squad, or the Congregational United Church of Christ.
