He is survived by: his wife Janice Scherf (Neill); his children, Beth St (Steve Cooley), Castalia Jr, David Scherf Jr. (Shanny) and Cleveland; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Brendon and Olive; his great grandchild Chance David; his siblings, Terry Scherf, Susan Draper (Doug) of Georgia and LouAnne; and his sister-in-law Martella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
