He is survived by: his son John Day (Sandra); his grandchildren, Tina Green, Tamee Schwarz and Troy Day; his great grandchildren, Madison Jenkins, Riley Schwarz, Abigayle Green and Brayden Green; his grandchild Kable Jenkins; his sister-in-law Audrey Day; his goddaughter Cindy Studer; and his close friend Barb Hess. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives.
