She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Smith; her son Walter "Jamie" Smith; her parents, Bryan Griffin and Laurel Griffin (Keller); and her siblings, Earlene Jacobs, Joanne Brown, Marge Gowitzka, Carol Routson, Noreen Griffin, Otto, Louis, Marvin, Daniel, Billy and Paul.
She is survived by: her daughter Laurel Smith; her grandson Holden; and her siblings, Katie Kessler, Wendy Petrick (Jo), Rich Griffin (Rose Mary) and Ronney Griffin (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
