She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Byers and Ruth Byers (Deckerhoff); her husband Louis M. Garman; her sons, Gerrold "Jerry" Garman (Julia) of Bellevue and Gregory Garman (Maryann) of Laramie, Wyoming; her grandchildren, Jill Garman Neiger, James Garman, Joshua Garman, Jason Garman, Candace Garman and Jeffery Garman; and her sisters, Joyce Antolick and Lois Zimmerman.
Memorials may be given to the Ardyce Garman Scholarship Fund at Bellevue High School.
