He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester "Chet" Newman and Janet Newman (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Newman (Kennedy); his daughters, Devera Sales and Charity Newman; his sisters, Judy and Cindy; his sisters-in-law, Diana Wilhelm (Wade), Carol Meyer (Tim) and Brenda Coverstone; and his close friend Robin Hicksenhiser. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; eighteen great nieces and great nephews.
