He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kessen and Rita Kessen (Mertz); his brothers, Steve Kessen and John Kessen; and his brother-in-law Lari Robinson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ann (Richard Mueller), Michael (Linda Kessen), Kathleen Robinson of Lakeview, Jane (Tom Feltz), Dennis Kessen of Carthagena, Mary Kessen of Celina, Tom (Julie Kessen) and Nancy (Craig Gray).
The family would like to receive friends but due to COVID-19 concerns a private mass will be held.
