He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Smith and Phyllis Roettker; his fiancée Danielle Haney; his children, Emily Cannon, Elizabeth Smith, Ryan Haney (Morgan) and Conner Haney; his siblings, Janet Grimes (Bill), Sally Reagle (Eric) and Matthew Smith (Jewell); and his granddaughter Willow. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
