It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Joseph Whaley of Carrollton, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ellsworth Whaley; his siblings, Joan Lamp and Donald Whaley; and his granddaughter Brielle Whaley. He is survived by: his wife Betty May Whaley (Evans); his children, Bonnie Stimmel of New Philadelphia, Barb Lynch (Jim) of Belmont, WV, Sue Beadnell (Kenny) of Kensington, Mary Painter (Steve) of Dellroy, Carol McNutt (Jacob) of Carrollton, Angie Arnold (Bryan) of New Philadelphia, Robert Whaley II (Mitzi) of Carrollton, Bryan Whaley (Heather) of Minerva, John Whaley (Amy) of Carrollton and Tim Whaley (Amanda) of Dellroy; and his siblings, Jeanette Nelson, Cheryl Barrick (Dave) and Roger Whaley (Sandi). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren.
