He was predeceased by: his parents, George Borland and Verna Borland (Little); and his brothers, Ralph, Lester, Donald and Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. McCort; his son Rick Borland (Susan); his grandchildren, Erica Zeedyk (Matt) of Dover, Desta Borland (Matt Cupp) of Gahanna, Beth Ann Zimmerman of Canonsburg, PA and Katy Borland of Akron; his great grandchildren, Carter, Abigail, Elyse Zeedyk, Cailyn and Tristan Cupp; and his brother Wilbur Borland of Orange City, Florida..
