He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Staley and Lillian Staley (Steigner). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Staley (Eshelman); his sister Norma Clark of Carrollton; his brother-in-law William Eshelman of Jacksonville; his daughters, Missy Russell (Shane) of Dellroy and Christy Thomas (Thatcher) of Moreland Hills; and his grandchildren, Madeline, Brady Russell, Holden and Austin Thomas.
