He was predeceased by: his parents, Lon and Verdie; his spouse Claire; his siblings, Midge, Donald, Evelyn, Ted, Bob and Shirley; and his great-nephew Miles L. Teeter.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kendra Alexander (John) and Janine Madison (Chad); and his pets, Abby and Missy. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
