We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Joseph E. Schier of Carrollton, Ohio, born in Chesterfield, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Schier and Myrtle Schier; his brother Larry; and his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Doris Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Baker); his children, Lindy Hylton (Allen) and Ryan Schier; his siblings, Wayne Schier (Yvonne), Ron Schier (Paula) and Juanita Ritz (Ken Dubois); his grandchildren, Cale and Isla Hylton; his siblings-in-law, Colleen Detchon (Danny), Skip Baker (Mitzi) and Gary Baker; and his adoptive mother Joy Reed. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions are make to Carrollton First United Methodist Church, a tribute donation to the PKD Foundation, or the VFW Post 3301.
