He was predeceased by: his parents, James Short and Edith Short. He is survived by: his wife Linda Allen Short; his siblings-in-law, Rosemary and Virgil Allen; his aunts, Grace and Louise; and his close friends, Dwight Chewning and Jeffery Yoho.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
