He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Doc" Swearingen and Edith Swearingen (Riley); his sister Bev Nicholson; and his father-in-law Raymond Carver. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Carver; his sons, Jimmy Swearingen (Kara) of Jackson Township and Bryan Swearingen (Nikki) of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Brayden, Joselynn, Korbin, Kaylee and Jordyn; his stepmother Sara Swearingen (Newburn) of Bloomingdale; his siblings, Joe Swearingen (Sloane) of Bloomingdale, Nancy Maurer of Richmond and Janet Edwards of Tennessee; his mother-in-law Eleanor Carver; and his siblings-in-law, Gregg Carver (Phyllis) and Diane Kurup (Mohan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
