He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Blanche Belle Ritchie Nign; his son Jamie Nign (Meghan); his grandson Jarod Nign; and his siblings, Charles, Walter "Pete", Francis, Agnus Guy, Violet Cunningham and June Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Violet "Vickie" Peoples Nign; and his sons, Daniel Nign (Debra) and Jeffrey Nign (Jenn). He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, & 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
