She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Gallagher and Merl Gallagher (Garrett); her sisters, Joyce Huffstutler and Phyllis Gearhart; her niece Stephanie Moser; her great-nephew Jackson Schneckloth; and her close friend Martha Gearhart.
She is survived by: her husband Russell "Ack" Atkinson; her children, Tricia Moyer (Brian) and Robert Atkinson; her daughter-in-law Shannon Atkinson of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Lane Atkinson, Ruby Moyer, Oliver Moyer and Lila Atkinson; her siblings, Barbara Moser of Boliver, Sue Dragomier of Canton, Vicky Butchelli of Alliance, Melody Hoskinson (Leonard) of Marietta and Glenn Gallagher of Massillon; and her cousin Dorothy Snyder (Mark). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home (206 E Lincolnway, Minerva, OH 44657). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
