He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Grindstaff and Maggie Grindstaff (Koon); his wife Carol Grindstaff (Klotz); his children, Kevin Grindstaff (Cindy) of Carrollton, Connie Mace (Bob) of Carrollton and Sonia Grindstaff of Massillon; his siblings, Elsie Berry (Ralph) of Lenoir, NC, Norma Bentley (Howard) of Lenoir, NC, Mildred Townsend of Banner Elk, NC and James Grindstaff (Reva) of Lenoir, NC; his sister-in-law Helene Grindstaff of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Brad Grindstaff (Renee), Kari Hurley (Jim), Chad Mace (Mandy), Chandra Mace and Ray Burkart, Sr. (Liv Adams); and his siblings, Leila Berry, Reaney Vance and Cecil Grindstaff. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren and a great grandchild.
