He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Ety and Edith Ety; and his brother Gerald Ety. He is survived by: his siblings, Charma Bussert (Ron) and Ralph H. Ety of Carroll, Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Richard Bussert (Andrea), Kevin Bussert (Paige), Connie Stoneburner (Ray) and Chris Shreyer (Matt); and his sister-in-law Shirlee Ety.
