She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl H. Kohler and Froma Kohler; her husband Mervin Kenneth Simmons; and her brothers, Gerald and Roger Kohler.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Lee Simmons (Sharon) of New Athens and Paul Simmons (Kay) of Amsterdam; her grandchildren, Darla K. Lucas (Ron) and Luke P. Simmons (Brandi); and her brother Melvin J. Kohler (Nora). She is also survived by four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
