He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnston and Louise Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Lon Johnston (Krystal), Ron Johnston (Judi) and Lisa Terkeurst (Nolan); his grandchildren, Kyle Johnston, Ally Johnston, Ryan Johnston and Noah Terkeurst; his sisters, Janice Droke and Marilyn Dewitt; his nieces, Sherry Herman, Louise O'Donnell and Maegan Herman; and his nephew Jeremy Herman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Wayne's name to the Alzheimer's Association, http://www.alz.org.
