He was predeceased by: his parents, Osha McDowell and Carrie McDowell. He is survived by: his wife Teresa McDowelll; his children, Ben McDowell (Lara) and Melissa Romine (Andy); his grandchildren, Haley, Trace (Keegan McDowell), Nathan and Harlie (Andrea Romine); and his sister Dempsey Dennis. He is also survived by cousins, the Fettys; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Fairhope Hospice.
