He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bowen and Nellie Bowen (Hanna); his wife Florence "Lois" Bowen; and his close friend Rose Doty. He is survived by: his sister Patty Thomas (Clarence); his children, Carnell Mattlin (Jack) and Jeff Bowen; and his grandchildren, Trevor Bowen (Melissa), Kaitlin Murray (Fred), Sean Van Tussenbroek (Lauren) and Jay Mattlin. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
