Daniel Winans Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2022, at the age of 68, Daniel Winans of Carroll, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Lee and Ruth Jane Winans (Snyder); and his brothers-in-law, Jack Blinn, Jim Stoll, Randy Scott and Wayne Bombich.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Winans (Roberts); his children, Sarah Weist (Dave) and David Lee Winans (Jaynie); his grandchildren, Khristin Ritchey (Alex), David Paul Weist, Sierra Weist, Leeland Winans, Thalia Winans and Gracin Winans; his siblings, Barbara Stoll, Ramona Bombich, Pamela Scott and Marvin Winans; and his pet Phoebe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio State School for the Blind, 5220 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214, or to another foundation supporting vision and sight in memory of Daniel.
