He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Plott and Mary Plott (Ritter); and his siblings, Dolores Kennedy, Doris Frey, Tom Plott and Shelia Turnbell.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy J. Barnett; his children, Lori Derr (Dennis) of Carey and Dean Plott (Kate) of Carey; his grandchildren, Samantha Derr (Jason Beard), Angela Simons (Patrick), Evan, Abby, Lexi and Emersyn Plott; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Kristian Gosche, Mackenzie, Audrey and Aiden Simons; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Kennedy and Linda Plott.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home (225 W Findlay St, Carey, OH 43316). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery of Carey Count (C Co Hwy 16, Carey, OH 43316).
