She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Broadwater and Opal Broadwater (Crew); and her brothers, Earl L. Broadwater and Larry Broadwater. She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. Griffin; her children, Brenda (Dennis), Jim Griffin, Scott Griffin (Annette "Sarge") of Fostoria, Brad Griffin and Bruce Griffin; and her siblings, Mike Broadwater (Gloria) and Sharon Thomas (Roger). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
