John A. Metzger Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Metzger of Carey, Ohio, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril J. "Sonny" Metzger and Irene S. Metzger (Morse); his brother James F. Metzger; and his brother-in-law John C. Zoeller. He is survived by: his wife Nancie J. Mathias (Haugh) of Carey; his stepchildren, Dustin Mathias (Kisha) of Tiffin, Andrew Mathias of Bucyrus, Corey Mathias (Gracie) of Texas, Greg Mathias (Crystal) of Bloomville and Renee Meyer (Robert) of Fostoria; and his siblings, Larry J. Metzger (Patricia) of Carey, Sandy Zoeller of New Riegel and Sharon Kimmet (Steve) of New Riegel. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
