He was predeceased by: his parents, Creed Meadows and Odessa Meadows (Spangler); his daughter Debbie VanWelden; and his siblings, A. E. Moye (Bud), Betty McDowell, Mary Lou Rosendale and June Hampshire.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Ritzler; his children, Tom Meador (Kim), Robin Nungester (John), Paul Ritzler, Tammy Chundzinski (Kenny), Shari Lutz (Tim), Michelle Beier (Scott) and Deanna Blakley (Jesse); and his siblings, Jerry Meadows (Phyllis) and Sandy Hawkins. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
