He was predeceased by: his parents, Heze Charles and Elizabeth Charles (Block); his son William "Greg" Charles; and his son-in-law Cheyenne Marteney. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis May Webb of Cardington; his daughters, Annette Smith (Bobby) of Marengo and Lisa Marteney of Galion; and his brother Johnny Charles of Chillicothe. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
