He was predeceased by: his father Ira Simms; his wife Lois A. (McPeek); and his siblings, John Simms and Susan Johnson. He is survived by: his significant other W. Jayne Eastep (Jolley); his children, Pam Piper, Robert L. "Robby" Simms II (Carrie) and Brenda Denman (Richard); his partner's daughter Carmen Eastep; his grandchildren, Chrissi, Jimmy, Cody (Kaila), Tori (Patrick), Blake (Katie), Bristan (Mike), Payton (Nathan) and Brogin; and his daughter-in-law Kelly Simms. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in Bob's memory.
