He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Adams and Birdie Mosher (Lucas); his wife Ruth Ann Adams (Criswell); and his siblings, Everett Berwyn "Bert" Adams and Donna "Leany" Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Don Adams (Brenda) of Marion, Ron Adams (Angie) of Marion, Doug Adams (Regi) of Texas, Betsy Hickman (Joe) of Marion and Rich Adams (Ashley) of Marion; the mother of his children Margaret Ann Snyder (Bradshaw); and his siblings, Duane of Cleveland, Gerald "Tub" of Florida, Marvin "Popeye" of Marion, Janis Miley of Marion and Carole Wells of Leonardsburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Marion Dog Pound.
