She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard P. Franks and Mabel L. Franks (Dodd); her spouse Tracey J. Short; her sons, George, Gordon, Michael and Robert Short; and her siblings, Isabelle Brucker, Geneva Knapp, Betty Welch and Kenny Franks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Greenawalt of Galion and Christy Short of Cardington; and her siblings, Helen Stout of Missouri, Raymond Franks of Marengo, Roger Franks of Iberia and Patty Smith of Bloomfield. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Mildred once the pandemic is over.
