He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Reed and Frieda Martin Reed; his wife Beulah Mae Hill; and his brothers, Robert, Richard and James.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron (Margie) and Ed (Pam); and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Reed, Ray and Ralph Hill. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, four great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
