He is survived by: his spouse Shiley (Klingel); his children, Steve Ackerman of Prosect, Terry Ackerman (Ida Mooney) of Marion and Denise Crothers (Bob Franks) of Cardington; and his grandchildren, Zachary (Tiffany Gordon), Marcus Crothers, Justine, Hannah, Ian and Benjamin Ackerman.
